How We Verify Our Traders

We want to fill you in on how we ensure the safety and trustworthiness of traders on our platform. Our verification process is pretty comprehensive and here's how it works in a nutshell, but we're always working to improve it.
We also want to make sure you know that we don't verify traders' work or their qualifications. We're not a regulatory body, so we can't do that. We do, however, make sure that traders are who they say they are and that they're based where they say they are, so you can feel confident when you're hiring them.

1. Step 1: Sharing Basic Info
   - Our traders start by sharing their basic info like their name, contact details, and where they're based.
2. Step 2: Document Upload
   - To kick things up a notch, they upload important identity documents like driver's licenses or passports. We double-check to make sure these documents are the real deal.
3. Step 3: Address Confirmation
   - Next, we verify their physical location by looking at utility bills or other official documents.
4. Step 4: Financial Info
   - Traders might need to give us some financial info, like their bank details, to meet certain financial requirements.
5. Step 5: In-Person Chat
   - Sometimes, we even have a chat, either in person or via video, to get to know our traders better and confirm their identity.
6. Step 6: Verification
   - We have a few more methods we use but once they all check out, you're ready to go!
